He was a Bible-believing Christian. His favorite verse was John 14:6, which says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me" He believed that at death, the physical body returns to dust, and the soul of the believer is welcomed into heaven. He belives what the Bible says in 2 Peter 3:9 , that God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. His prayer was that all of you who read this would take John 14:6 seriously and , if you haven't already, would receive the gift of eternal life. |

One of seven children, John Michael Aiello was born to Salvatore and Eleanor
Aiello on Feburary 15, 1957 in Maimonides Hosiptal in Brooklyn New York.
At the time his family resided on 54th street. In 1965, John and his family
moved to Staten Island. |
John always had a love for his family and his country. He grew up with
great interest in the military and airplanes. His hobby was building aircraft
models. He graduated Farrell High School June 1975. While attending Farrell, John was on their varsity track team, and played intramural football. John attended the University of Flordia in Gainsville for one year before joining the military. John served in the United States Air Force from 1977 to 1988, graduated from Community College of the Air Force with a A.A. degree in Avionics Technology, conducted classroom theoretical training and hands=on workshops on electrical warfare systems. John was rated as #8 Distinguished Graduate of the Air Force NCO Leadership school in 1983 and honorably discharged as Tech Sergeant. His time of service also included time at a U.S. base in Bentwaters, England. After finishing his military service, John worked for Puritan Bennett, which after many consolidations became Tyco, in servicing hosiptal equipment. He was named to the 'CSE Honor Roll" in 1993, recognized as the "Most Valuable Service Rep" in the New York Metro area for 1992 and chosen to train and mentor junior CSEs between 1991 - 1995 because of workplace expertise. |
John loved his family, and cherished each and evey one of his nieces and nephews.
On one trip to accompany his nephews Alan and Michael on Halloween, he gave a ride to his sister's friend, Marie, who was also coming for Halloween. After a blossoming friendship and courtship, John married Marie Cicero on May 28, 1994 |

Dear God, Amid our tears, O Lord, we praise Thee as Thou hast received John to Thyself in glory for all eternity. Thou knowest how much we loved him, but Thy love is still greater, for Thou hast redeemed him with the precious blood of Thine own Son. Thy holy angels have taken him into Thy presence, where there is no more pain and suffering and sin, but fullness of joy forevermore. We thank Thee that Thou hast brought him to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Please comfort us with the glorious hope of the resurrection and the eternal life. Grant us grace to say with a believing heart "Thy will be done," and to know that Thy will is a good and gracious will even in this present hour. Comfort us through Thy Gospel, which promises strength and help to the troubled and weary. Please provide all that we need today, help to wash away our tears, strengthen our faith and keep us close to Thee........... Amen |
