Dear Lord,

Our he earts are heavy with sorrow. Thy ways are not our ways. Yet we know that you will not forsake us. We believe that Thou dost love us with and everlasting love. Thou alone can pour haealing into our sad and wounded hearts. Thou knowest how empty and lonely life has become for us. We do not begrudge our love one the glory which Tou has promised to your faithful but we do miss her / him. Our hours have been filled with sorrow and grief. Amid out tears we thank thee tat she / him has been brought home to your loving care. We praise Thee that by thy boundless grace there is no condemnation for those who believe. Teach us to know and realize that we have no abiding eity here, that the foundation of our eternal home has been laid in heaven. Keep us faithful to thy saving Word, that we too may depart in peace when life's journey ends, washed clean in the blood of our precious Savior, there to live with our loved ones int the Saviour's presence eternally. Help us to know your loving care and tenderness, wash away our tears and surround us with you loving arms.
